Wow!  It's been another amazing month!  Here it is April, already.  Where did March go?  God is Great!  Jerry had to go back in the hospital on March 25 and have another surgery.  He is doing better and back home.  He stayed in this time for a week.  He came home with an open wound, so I'm getting to get a little training in nursing...lol!  Brittany is 31 weeks and already having contractions!  She is taking medication for that and hopefully Ana Marie will stay put for a little while longer!

Also in March we had our Church's Ladies Retreat in Branson. So I'm including some pictures from that.
This is Shirley and Tena acting silly and Ms. Bonnie just looking on!

This year I got the chance to stay at these nice condos thanks to a nice lady at our church!

It was a three bedroom and this is Shirley and my room.

This was Ms. Ruby and Ms. Bonnie's room.

This was the third room.

It was nice to have home cook meals and not have to go out and also not to be the one to cook them...lol!

Saturday Morning...playing games at church!

The Saturday Luncheon!

Saturday night , before service!

We even got some snow on the way home!

I'm looking to next year already!  On to other news, I starting teaching Sunday School.  Ive taught two Sundays so far and I'm loving it.  I thank God for allowing me this oppurtunity!  Hopefully next time I blog it may be about my beautiful granddaughter...lol!

Thank You, Lord For Your Blessings On Me!

The Lord is soooo good and soooo forgiving.   I have been through alot in my life and I've had friends and family ask:  How can you be so strong ?  How can you go on?  How can you be so forgiving?   My answer is always the same I can't , It's the God in me!  Then I start to think :  How can a person be strong without God?  How can a person go on after a tragedy in their life without God?  How can a person be forgiving without having God  as a role model?  My answer to these is I have no idea how anyone can do anything without God's help!  Think about it He's the one that puts breath in you body, the One that gives you strength to get up in the morning, the one that reminds you when someone does you wrong "you must forgive just as I have forgiven you"  and the one that let His own son die for you!

So my new motto is:  DON'T WORRY LET GOD HANDLE IT!

Ok with that off my chest , I wanted to update on Brittany.  She is doing well and is almost 28 weeks.  She has a little problem with having false labor, but I know my Lord is going to let Ana Marie come when He gets ready and has us ready.   I'm will be posting the lastest ultrasound pics as soon as I download them!

My God Never Ceases To Amaze Me!

It's been another rough past Month!  Jerry had to go in and have an unexpected surgery.  Going in the Doctors told us of all the things that could be wrong and what they would have to do once they got in and found out what was causing the problem.  I call Bro Pankey(my pastor) at soon as we heard this.  He and my church family had been praying for us from the beginning when we first went to the hospital.  My pastor said he was coming over to try and pray with us before Jerry went in for surgery (even though it was after 1 in the morning).  Bro Pankey did get there just in time and it made Jerry and I sooo much more at ease.   I was still worried and tried not to let it show.  I got a call from the surgery team and said they had gotten started with surgery and Jerry was doing fine and they would call me when they were done.  I never will forget when I got the call about and hour later the Doctor called with some amazing news Jerry was in recovery and doing find they found a small abrasion and were able to fix it and they didn't have to do any of the things they said they thought they would have to.  I know God touch him and healed him , because the Doctors were amazed that such a small spot could cause the problems he was having!  God has once again proven that He is still in control.  Thanks to the Pankeys and my wonderful church family for all the prayers!

Snow Days

I am so happy that we finally got enough snow to play in and even make a snowman!  The kids were out of school for two days (something that hasn't happen in awhile)!  So we took the time and got out in it.  So I'm sharing a few pics of the snow days.

Love ,
Karen

Ok....it's been over a month since I last posted a blog!  Christmas was wonderful being with family and friends.  Can't belive we are in a New Year already.  Brittany went back to doctor on January 19th and she is having a girl!  So I'm including another ultrasound picture.  I am falling more and more in love with Arriana everyday!

I guess there is not much more to update for now.  Just want to leave with this last statement:  God is Good All the Time!

Christmas

I can finally say,  I am finally done with Christmas shopping.  I even bought a few extra gifts.  Got them all wrapped and under the tree.  Even got my gift for the White Elephant party at church!  Yay for me!   So now I can go shopping with my sister this weekend and not need to get anything, but probably will get some more stuff...lol!  Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

As Christmas is approaching fast, I have been very busy at work!  First of all had to get the tree and decorations up so I could get in the Christmas spirt!

Now the Christmas season has officially begun for me.  Lots of shopping , partys and my favorite the music!    I really enjoyed going to "Deck The Walls at our church and have included a few of my favorite photos.

This is Sister Tonya, she's fallen and can't get up or maybe doesn't want to get up?  The next photo is of my pastor and I just don't know what it is with the floor and the Pankeys but, they seem to enjoy it!

All in all it was a fun night and really enjoyed spending time with all the nice people and helping out with decorationg! Christmas would not be Christmas without baby Jesus!

It has been a busy, busy season, but I really love it!  The last picture i'm including is and updated one of my tree.  Hope all is well and everyone has a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

And not one of those presents are mine, but Jerry and kids are gone shopping for me now.  Thats why I had some free time to update my blog.
